/n/n Provide technical support and training to plant management and
manufacturing personnel in the application of statistical tools and
problem solving techniques. Evaluate and improve manufacturing
quality, performance and capability. /n/n Duties and
Responsibilities: /n/n Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance
Manager, the Quality Process Engineer's responsibilities would
include, but not limited to the following: /n/n Technical Support
to Management Team /n/n /n/t - Provide process analysis of plant
manufacturing performance to management team /n/t - Conduct
statistical evaluations of new and existing equipment to determine
process / equipment capability /n/t - Provide data analysis to
facilitate the allocation of resources in the scheduling of plant
equipment maintenance and repair /n/t - Participate in
customer/supplier audits and provide supporting process performance
analysis /n/t - Manage plant SPC training program for salary and
hourly personnel /n /n/n /n/n Technical Support to Plant Personnel
/n/n /n/t - Conduct training in basic SPC principles and
applications /n/t - Conduct training in the application of
statistical problem solving techniques /n/t - Coach hourly
personnel in the use of SPC on the plant floor /n/t - Provide
process analysis to QA manager and to the management team /n/t -
Conduct gauge R&R accuracy and gauge stability roll-out studies
and training programs /n/t - Support establishment and monitoring
of gauge maintenance programs /n/t - Provide training in the use of
statistical software packages /n/t - Facilitate plant SOP
development and training programs /n/t - Support corporate TQ
engineers with the installation and maintenance of quality network
systems /n/t - Facilitate team meetings and support development of
team dynamics /n/t - Manage process certification efforts within
the plant /n/t - Maintain quality network systems /n/t - Assume the
role of QA Manager during absence when necessary /n /n/n /n/n

Plant / Process Performance Audits /n/t - Procedures / Policies /n
/n/n Performance of other job-related duties as required or
assigned. Job Requirements /n/n /n/t - Associates or Bachelor’s
degree preferred /n/t - This position requires a successful passing
of the Munsell Color Test. /n/t - Three (3) or more years of
quality/engineering experience including at least one (2) year of
previous manufacturing experience /n/t - Analytical skills (ability
to objectively evaluate data and perform statistical analysis) /n/t
- Communication skills (verbal and written) /n/t - Microsoft WORD
and EXCEL /n/t - Statistical Software (ex. MiniTab) /n/t - Advanced
Statistical Process Control and Capability (Six Sigma) /n/t - Gauge
Capability Analysis /n/t - Technical writing skills /n/t - Minimum
of six-sigma Green-Belt Certification preferred /n/t - Project
Process Improvement Management /n/t - Must be available to work
various shift as needed /n/t - Must be able to facilitate and work
