Job Description:
As an External Test Lab Coordinator, you will be: This position
reports to the Senior Manager Equipment Qualification and Testing
and provides day-to-day support of Client projects and assists in
the coordination of test activities with external testing labs.
Tasks Assisting in the successful design and implementation of the
Client third party testing program. Coordinating with design
personnel to ensure test requirements are well documented and
sufficiently detailed to send to external test facilities.
Coordinate between contracts and technical teams to engage National
Labs and reach contractual agreement for scopes of work Work with
National Labs to drive to an appropriate schedule/budget and
troubleshoot issues as they arise to maintain the agreed upon
schedule/budget Coordinate and address disconnects and challenges
between Client, National Labs and the US Department of Energy
Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining list of
proposed/ongoing/future planned tests required by Client.
Interfacing with technical discipline teams at Client, partners and
contractors. Preparing and reviewing technical material such as
test program plans, test requirement documents and test
specifications prepared by themselves and others. Reviewing
correspondence to and from the Department of Energy and National
Test Lab. Assisting with maintenance of the testing directory and
lines of communication between test facilities and test sponsors.
Preparing or reviewing statements of work, testing bids, and test
facility specifications. Key Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's
degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related technical
field from an accredited, four-year university or equivalent
experience. 5 years' applicable experience in test engineering
and/or test lab activities. Direct experience with vendor test
facilities a plus. Oversight of test schedules and budgets and
technical execution. Experience with testing quality requirements
such as NQA-1. Communication skills within a WBS type
organizational structure. Awareness and current knowledge of trends
and nuclear industry activities related to equipment qualification.
Self-Starter with ability to manage deadlines Proficient in MS
Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) Adobe Professional,
Jira and Confluence. Project management and project management
tools experience with the capability and willingness to assume full
responsibility for a project task Strong communication skills
desired. The successful candidate will possess a high degree of
trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect and a
desire to foster teamwork. Actual position starting level and title
will be determined based on assessment of qualifications. Pay Rate:
$75 to $80 per hour. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate
will be based on several factors, including the candidate's
education, work experience, work location, specific job duties,
