(TDS) – We are part of the Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E)
Flight Test Engineering (FTE) community, responsible for
developing, maintaining and evolving essential products utilized by
our FTE partners. These products span all aspects of flight
testing, from pre-flight test configuration and setup, data
acquisition and recording, data processing and visualization to
post-test data analytics. TDS has an exciting culture of innovation
that’s leveraged to drive our overall FTE technology evolution
forward. We are currently recruiting for a Technology, Tools &
Processes Manager (Level K) to join our team based out of Seattle,
WA . In this role, you will guide the strategy, development and
execution of the tools, technologies and processes that enable FTE.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team while partnering closely
with the FTE leadership, capability leaders and test program
managers to ensure our capabilities support both current and future
airplane programs’ needs. Position responsibilities will include:
Provide oversight of employees performing engineering and technical
tasks in the areas of technology strategy development, model-based
systems engineering, data science, software tools, process
management and project management Champion modern engineering
practices including model-based systems engineering, digital
engineering tools, and advanced data analytics Oversee the FTE
Strategic Investment and Capital project portfolio by supporting
Long Range Business Planning exercises, enabling project leaders,
and ensuring projects are effectively planned and executed to meet
key milestones Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and
motivation to combine the team’s energy and expertise to achieve
common objectives Develop and maintain relationships and
partnerships with key stakeholders, business partners, peers, and
direct reports Develop and maintain budgets, schedules, staffing
plans, metrics and performance measures Strive to continuously
innovate to improve existing processes and frameworks Develops and
maintains a culture of seeking to understand, courage to speak up,
and active listening to manage, develop and motivate employees This
position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be
required to perform majority of work onsite at one of the listed
location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could

consideration. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
This position must meet U.S. export control compliance
requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements,
a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S.
Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent
resident, refugee, or asylee Bachelor of Science degree in
Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing
Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics,
Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to
the work statement Candidates must have at least one year of
experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large
scale cross functional project/program management, or formal
manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course
“Exploring Leadership 5 years of experience in an engineering
related role working in a lab test, flight test, or similar test
environment 3 years of experience leading or managing projects that
involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams Willing to
travel domestically and internationally as needed Proficiency
working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred
Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3 years of experience
of collaborative leadership and teaming with internal and external
stakeholders 3 years of experience managing project portfolios and
budgets Flight test technical domain knowledge Ability to
communicate effectively at multiple levels Strategic planning
experience and ability to assess and improve organizational health
to create a culture of high performance Experience in project
management and the ability to work on several projects
simultaneously, including experience collecting, interpreting data,
