BRAND MANAGER - MarketingThe Harbor Brand Manager is an advocate working across all levels and departments of the organization to find what makes the company and all company brands unique while communicating it both internally and externally. The Brand Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of products while maintaining brand integrity across all marketing initiatives/communications and adapting a brand strategy for all target markets and provide analysis to what can attract our customers, partners and prospects and how Harbor can improve customer experience. The Brand Manager is an integral part of improving the company's reputation and the branded products developed to drive growth and expansion while using data to lift volume and profitability.The Brand Manager will be a part of a stellar and supportive marketing team called Studio H, that leverages collaboration to drive creativity. This position will work closely with the team and report to the Director of Marketing.Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:* Analyze company and product brand positioning and consumer insights* Uncover consumer insights and deliver innovative marketing campaigns* Shape and communicate our vision and mission through various channels; print, digital etc.* Translate product brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies* Manage team members, outside agency partners and targeted departments working on brand initiatives* Organizing events such as product launches, exhibitions and photo shoots* Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to "take action"* Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates* Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs* Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors' activities* Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities* Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions* Devise innovative growth strategies* Collaborate with departments on product innovation* Align the company and product around the brand's direction, choices and tactics* Manage branded product budgets* Assist in the design of retail packaging as well as the creation of in-store marketing displays* Maintain contact with vendors and distributors to get critical input on how product design and implementation can be improved.Requirements of Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities* Outstanding written and verbal communication with strong report presentation abilities* Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives* Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns* Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail partnered with a creative mind* A collaborative spirit bringing innovation and creative new ideas* Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers* Time & Project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projectsEducation and Technical Experience* Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field* 3-5+ years' experience in brand or product management* Advanced MS Office Suite of products; Adobe, PageMaker, Photoshop, LightBox or any other graphics and creative arts platforms preferred* 3-5+ years involvement in Social Media in a B2B capacity
