Job Purpose
The Lifestyle Manager is primarily responsible for identifying, coordinating, and marketing all resident programs including recreational, social, travel, cultural, educational and entertainment designed to enrich the quality of life and enhance the vibrancy of the community for residents. Responsibilities encompass program development, facility scheduling, administration of chartered clubs, and overall program promotion, publicity, and marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities

Partners with Regional Lifestyle Directors/Community Manager to identify, coordinate and market all community events, programs, and services.
Knowledge and understanding of the budget.
Daily, weekly and monthly checklist to ensure the facility is show ready at all times.
Oversees wellness staff and all facilitators to ensure facilities, events, classes, and customer service meet the needs of the residents.
Plan, coordinate and implement resident programs, classes, and special community-wide event/s.
Vendor management skills to ensure excellent vendor partnership and relationship building.
Secure all entertainment, food, decorations, and items necessary to carryout event/s.
In planning, solicits input and involvement from residents to stimulate participation and awareness of the robust and facilitated lifestyle opportunities available.
Work with residents to assist in the establishment of chartered clubs. Provides assistance in the application for charter process, assignment of facility space, development and promotion of programs, file maintenance and acts as a general overseer.
Assist residents, chartered clubs, and community organizations in the scheduling of Association facilities, to include program and room requirements, coordination with other Association departments and arrangements for the collection of fees as applicable.
Assess overall success of event/s through focus groups and evaluations.
Develop an active volunteer program among residents, providing for both promotion and recognition.
Oversee the operation of the membership desk and/or retail counter as applicable to ensure adequate staffing, policy and procedure implementation and administration, asset control and required documentation.
Supporting Community Manager in prescreening, onboarding and scheduling Concierge Team Members.
Attend Board of Directors meetings, club and committee meetings as required.
Perform all other duties as directed.

Physical, Mental and Visual Skills
Good organizational, written, and communication skills. Possess a high level of energy, initiative, enthusiasm, cooperation and exercise good judgment and discretion. Computer skills including experienced knowledge of MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Public speaking skills are important to the effectiveness off this position and have highly effective interpersonal skills, problem solving, point of sale system, registration processes, policies and procedures, equipment, material, and products, etc.
Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 50 lbs., up to 30 lbs. frequently and up to 20 lbs. constantly. Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, lifting, and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.

Working Conditions
Works indoors and outdoors. Potential exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils, harmful chemicals and or solvents if proper safety procedures are not followed.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
