Job Description:
The Hospice Nurse serves as a member of the interdisciplinary
hospice team, assessing, planning, and providing nursing care to
terminally ill patients. In doing so, the nurse addresses, in a
holistic way, the needs of terminally ill patients and their
families. The nurse strives to anticipate changes in patients'
conditions, avoid crises, promote patient and family choice, assure
continuity of care, and enhances the quality of life of dying
patients.Required qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school
of nursing Required upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
(Vendor Managed) Required upon hire: National Provider BLS -
American Heart Association (Vendor Managed)Preferred
qualifications: 1 year Nursing experience. Medical/Surgical,
