time between inpatient hospitalist work and our virtual "hospital

Position Highlights
You would enjoy a schedule of 14-16 shifts/month (pro-rated for
less FTE), including some afternoon swing shifts but no full
overnight shifts. -
Hospitalist care: -The Medical Hospitalist Team is well supported
with strong relationships with the ICU, ER, specialists and
hospice. - -Our team has deep ties to Washington State University
and is a training site for the new WSU internal medicine residency
program: teaching is part of the hospitalist role. - -There is also
an option to work as a virtual hospitalist in our hospital at home
model.
Hospital at home: -Hospital at home is a unique model that is
spreading throughout the country and has demonstrated superior
clinical outcomes. - - -The virtual hospitalist directs the
clinical care and collaborates with the in-home RNs (who provide
direct care) and the virtual nursing team. - -Hospital level care
including IV medications and fluids, imaging, and stat work-ups are
available in the home as part of this program. - -Caring for
acutely ill patients in the comfort of their own home is extremely
rewarding and satisfying to patients and clinicians alike.

-Required Qualifications:
Unrestricted WA State Medical License -by employment date
Current WA DEA certificate -by employment date
Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine -
EMR proficient -
Bold verbal and written communication skills - -

Preferred Qualifications:
Managed Care and Medi-Cal experience
1+ years' experience post-training
Experience with complex geriatric patients

Washington Residents Only: -The salary range for this role is
$256,997 to $364,843 annually. Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work
experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with
