Job Title: Staff Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Dialysis Nurse, Dialysis Chronic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday, Wednesday, Friday Hours per Shift: 12-13 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year nursing experience. Previous Dialysis experience. Prior experience in Acute or Ambulatory Nursing preferred. License: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Certifications: Current certification of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with a Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers card from the American Heart Association. Must-Have: Ability to work any shift schedule depending upon staffing needs. Description: The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) will oversee the delivery of dialysis and the care of patients. The RN will be responsible for providing education to patients. The RN will supervise Dialysis Technicians. The RN will adjust treatment plans per standing orders and care plans. The RN will monitor patient outcomes. The RN will administer medications. The RN will participate in quality improvement projects. The RN will collaborate with other members of the patient care team, including social workers, dietitians, and nephrologists. This is a chronic, in-center position working on designated days. Training will take place at a specified location. The contract could end early if there are unforeseen circumstances.
