Job Description:
Location: Lacey, WA Lacey is a beautiful city in the suburbs of
Olympia, Washington's capital. The area offers a perfect blend of
urban amenities and natural beauty, with easy access to the Puget
Sound, mountains, and numerous parks for outdoor enthusiasts.
Facility: This outpatient rheumatology clinic is part of a larger
healthcare system serving the Lacey community. The facility
features a collaborative practice model with pharmacy services,
where pharmacists provide medication education and work directly
with patients. The clinic is connected with an oncology center for
infusion services. Opportunity: Rheumatology Job Details:
Start/Duration: ASAP and ongoing Long-term locum tenens position
while facility recruits permanent provider Schedule: 10 days per
month in a 5 on/5 off pattern, Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM Alternative
3-day week schedule possible for local providers wanting to work
part time Approximately 21 patient encounters per shift
Collaborative practice with pharmacy team provider will need to be
comfortable with medication educations and visiting with patients
directly and will assist for medication management in tandem with
pharmacy Hospital privileges required to order infusions (performed
at oncology clinic) Skills preferred: tissue biopsy,
arthrocentesis, bone mineral density studies Required: familiarity
with intravenous therapies Expedited privileging available for
qualified candidates EMR: Epic Active WA License or IMLC, BC
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and
malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging.
