Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of recent skilled hospice experience and required Washington licensure. Responsibilities Home health setting serving adult patients in their homes Day shifts, 5x8 hours, typically 8:00 to 16:30 Caseload generally includes 4–6 patients per day No on-call required; occasional weekend coverage may be discussed in interview 1:1 patient visits with a standard productivity target of 27–30 points based on territory HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) system is required for documentation Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate Personal transportation required, sometimes up to a 100-mile radius Will provide home-based OT care and responsible assessment and treatment All documentation tools are provided and must be returned at assignment end Attire is any color scrubs First-time travelers are accepted Travel pairs are accepted but each must have their own transportation and separate territory Former perm employees must be separated for at least 6 months and require HR approval to return as a traveler Requested time off must be submitted at application Free parking is provided Requirements Active WA OT license and NBCOT certification required Minimum 1 year of recent skilled hospice experience within the past 3 years in a home health setting Current BCLS certification Proficiency in OASIS documentation required Experience with HomeCare HomeBase preferred Active driver’s license and reliable transportation required Timely communication and documentation required for consideration Completion of Hospice/Home Health Checklist required License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-620986.
