Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a
Pediatric/Neonatal Transport position requiring advanced critical
care skills and WA or compact RN licensure. /n /n
Responsibilities/n - Work in the Pediatric/Neonatal Transport unit
supporting interhospital ground and air transport - Care for
pediatric and neonatal patients with diagnoses such as HIE, ppHN,
asthma, sepsis, DKA, trauma, congenital heart defects, cancer, NEC,
and others - Responsible for airway management, vasoactive drips,
non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/HFNC), IV/IO access, and more -
Utilize specialized equipment including Phillips monitors, Hamilton
ventilators, Braun and Baxter IV pumps, Tecotherm, Zoll
defibrillators, TXP, Cross Vent, transport isolettes, and Stryker
gurneys - Uses EPIC and Zoll emsCHARTS for documentation - 12-hour
day and night shifts available, including every other weekend - No
on-call duties - Floating required to assist in other units when
not on transport - Team consists of 1 RN, 1 RT, and an EMT
partnered with regional ambulance and air transport services -
Safety day training provided as part of orientation - Scrub color
is black - Facility is a level 2 trauma center with a level 4 NICU
serving a large regional area - First-time travelers will be
considered for this position /n /n Requirements/n - Active WA or
compact RN license required - A minimum of 5 years combined
experience in pediatric ED/PICU and Level IV NICU, with at least 1
year in each area - At least 3 years of neonatal/peds transport
experience within the last 5 years - Required certifications: BLS,
PALS, NRP; TNCC and STABLE are preferred - Demonstrated competency
in pediatric and neonatal critical care transport skills -
Experience with EPIC and specialized transport equipment preferred
