Nextant is hiring a Program Manager Non Tech 3 to join our client’s team. In this role, the individual will serve as a highly skilled and experienced ESG and Sustainability Data Manager responsible for overseeing ESG data management and governance. This position plays a key role in advancing sustainability initiatives and ensuring data practices align with ESG objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in data management, governance, and a passion for sustainability. The role also involves close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance data maturity, support audit readiness, and enable robust data analysis and performance tracking in alignment with sustainability commitments and evolving regulatory requirements. Job Responsibilities: Oversee ESG data management and governance. Develop and implement data management strategies to ensure data quality, integrity, and security. Engage with stakeholders across the business group to improve data maturity and drive audit readiness. Enable data analysis and performance tracking towards sustainability commitments and regulatory requirements. Drive innovative approaches and data analysis to create actionable impact towards sustainability and ESG performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and sustainability experts, to define and execute data management plans. Ensure that all data management practices meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and security. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders and senior management. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners. Requirements: 7 years of experience in data management, with a focus on sustainability and ESG data. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Must have a master’s degree in Sustainability, Data Science, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with sustainability data sets and data analysis, with a focus on sustainability and ESG data. Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with data visualization skills Must have experience working in the technology industry, particularly in a cloud computing environment. Must have knowledge of Microsoft technologies and platforms. Must have experience with data governance frameworks and best practices. Must have certification in data management, change management, or project management (e.g., CDMP, PMP). Must have a passion for sustainability and a commitment to making a positive impact on the environment. Strong understanding of sustainability and ESG principles and practices. Proven experience in stakeholder management, project management and change management. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience leveraging data to garner actionable insights to drive actionable decisions. Candidates should be able to work in Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with no expected overtime. Pay Rate: The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 - $132,000 in Washington State. Please note that the salary range is a general guideline.
