Technical Program Manager IV Location: Fully Onsite at Bellevue, WA Duration: 3 -months contract with possibility for extension Pay Rate: $100/hr on W2 Benefits: Medical, dental, vision; paid vacation/sick leave; 401k Overview We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the successful definition, implementation, and delivery of complex, cross-functional programs. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and execution skills to manage interdependencies across multiple projects while partnering closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities, and has a proven track record of delivering large-scale technology programs within scope, budget, and timeline. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of complex programs: define scope, track schedule, manage budget, ensure quality, and oversee launch readiness. Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to resolve trade-offs and align priorities. Identify and mitigate risks early; escalate unresolved issues to maintain program momentum. Coordinate cross-functional teams, matrixed partners, and external vendors to deliver systems and enhancements. Establish program governance: schedules, progress tracking, status reporting, and metrics. Manage post-launch feedback, track bug resolution, and ensure enhancements are implemented successfully. Coach teams on execution best practices , risk management, and stakeholder communication. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong expertise in: Project estimation, scheduling, and tracking Customer and stakeholder management Implementation planning within large organizations Proven people management and team-building capabilities. Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple competing priorities. Strong business acumen with the ability to learn complex business processes rapidly. Excellent risk assessment skills and application of management principles to technology products and business functions. Hands-on experience delivering technology and business application solutions in large-scale, multi-platform environments . Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) . Top 3 Must-Have Hard Skills Project Estimating, Scheduling & Tracking: Plan and track large-scale programs across multiple workstreams. Customer Interaction & Management: Partner with stakeholders to define requirements, manage expectations, and drive alignment. People Management & Team Building: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams while managing competing priorities. Good-to-Have Skills Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology and business functions. Experience delivering large-scale, multi-platform technology solutions . Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile practices. Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
