Job Description:
We build advanced analytic solutions to support the measurement
and intelligence needs of Amazon's most strategic advertising
customers — Holding Companies, independent agencies, technology
integrators, and large-scale advertisers. We own and operate the
premier advanced analytics capability within Amazon Ads, delivering
cutting-edge AI, modeling, and data solutions that empower our
customers to make smarter, faster, and more impactful advertising
decisions. In the programmatic advertising industry, transparency
has become increasingly critical as the ecosystem expands with
multiple layers in the ad selling and buying supply chain.
Log-level data—granular, non-aggregated, event-level information
from ad servers, exchanges, and SSPs—provides advertisers with
unprecedented visibility into individual ad impressions, bid
prices, viewability scores, and supply path. This role will build
the foundational infrastructure to capture, process, store, and
analyze this raw data at petabyte scale, empowering our
organization to understand auction competitiveness, identify
revenue opportunities, optimize floor pricing, and ensure supply
chain transparency. Candidates for this position should be
creative, demonstrated leader with excellent analytical abilities
and a strong drive to deliver results. This opportunity requires
deep technical, problem-solving and communication skills. Key
Responsibilities: - Build and own end-to-end log-level data
infrastructure capturing raw, unaggregated event data for
advertising measurement and attribution - Define technical vision
and multi-year roadmap for LLD systems supporting billions of daily
ad requests, bid responses, impressions, clicks, and conversions -
Drive architectural decisions for high-throughput, low-latency data
ingestion and processing pipelines handling millions of rows and
hundreds of columns per day - Establish data quality standards,
monitoring, and operational excellence practices to ensure data
accuracy, completeness, and timeliness - Build, manage, and develop
innovative engineers including making hiring recommendations and
guiding and mentoring engineers and product and program managers
within and outside of the team. - Deliver robust and scalable
solutions toward your vision, invent or incorporate in new
technologies when needed. - Oversee resource allocation to ensure
appropriate business and staff development goals are met. - Build
relationships with software development managers, engineers,
product managers and technical program managers across upstream and
downstream teams to influence product development for advertising
traffic data. - Participate in strategic planning to achieve
technical and business objectives and interact with customers,
other leaders, and your team to construct your plan. - 3 years of
engineering team management experience - 7 years of working
directly within engineering teams experience - 3 years of designing
or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new
and existing systems experience - 8 years of leading the definition
and development of multi tier web services experience - Knowledge
of engineering practices and patterns for the full
software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding
standards, code reviews, source control management, build
processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations -
Experience partnering with product or program management teams -
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and
senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software
product features, technical designs, and product strategy -
Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing
teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
