Join our team as a Senior Financial Analyst at AWS where you'll
drive business impact by diving deep into data to identify
opportunities for optimizing internal usage of precious capacity
resources. You'll partner with business leaders to uncover insights
that change the trajectory of AWS through process simplification
and efficiency identification. In this role, you'll analyze complex
datasets, deliver actionable recommendations, and implement

optimization. Key job responsibilities - Dive deep into data across
AWS to identify opportunities for optimizing internal usage of
capacity resources, providing actionable insights that directly
impact business performance - Develop and maintain financial models
and reporting that incorporate value and investment levers,
supporting senior leadership in making informed decisions -
Proactively identify process improvement opportunities,
implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy in
financial reporting - Partner with business leaders to translate
complex data analysis into clear, actionable recommendations that
drive measurable business outcomes - Build and maintain financial
tools, standard operating procedures, and process documentation to
facilitate knowledge sharing and scale benefits across the
organization A day in the life Your typical day involves diving
deep into complex datasets to uncover insights about AWS capacity
resource usage. You'll collaborate with business leaders to
identify efficiency opportunities, analyzing trends and developing
recommendations to optimize resource allocation. You'll participate
in cross-functional meetings to present your findings, work on
building or enhancing financial models, and partner with
stakeholders to implement solutions that drive immediate business

insights and recommendations. We value collaboration, intellectual
curiosity, and the ability to transform complex data into
actionable business strategies that drive meaningful results. - 3
years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience -
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a
related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer
science), or Bachelor's degree and 5 years of quantitative role
(engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
- 4 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in
your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable
results experience - MBA, or CPA - Knowledge of Tableau -
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools
(examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial
systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) - 4 years of
applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
experience - 4 years of creating process improvements with
automation and analysis experience - 4 years of identifying,
leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate,
standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
experience - Six Sigma Black Belt certification - Experience with
advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence -
Experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer, or experience

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
