KPFF Consulting Engineers Lacey office works with public agencies, developers, contractors, and architects to provide Civil Engineering design and Surveying for site and roadway improvements. Its a fast paced environment that will provide opportunity to work with our staff of civil engineers, structural engineers, and in-house surveyors on small and large design projects requiring the ability to think on your feet and communicate effectively. Our survey teams work directly with clients on a wide range of projects and are often viewed as the face of the company. This position provides opportunities to work in many unique and challenging environments. We promote decision-making at the level closest to the issue in order to most efficiently and effectively serve our clients, and to promote professional growth for our staff.

The position entails field work and minimal office work. Job duties include field topographic, boundary, right-of-way and construction surveying, and supporting office staff.


Minimum 1 year experience in the landsurveying field High School Diploma or GED equivalent Valid DriverLicense


Carlson Survey software, Topcon robotics and AutoCAD experience desired


Ability to work in a team environment.
Willingness to work on a variety of project types.
Ability to shift between different project types easily.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Time managementto ensure commitments and schedules are met.
