SALARY $32.55 - $37.49 per hourNew hires may earn a salary ranging from the minimum to the midpoint of the pay scale, with education and experience taken into consideration.FIND OUT ABOUT THIS ROLE AND OUR MISSION TO CREATE POSITIVE CHANGEThe Development Operations Specialist will provide crucial operational support to Plymouth Housing’s Resource Development department, focusing on donor engagement and Salesforce management. This role also includes supporting Plymouth’s events such as signature fundraising events, third-party beneficiary events, building events and tours, donor cultivation events, and donor appreciation events. The Development Operations Specialist is passionate about Plymouth’s mission and will serve as a key member of the Resource Development (RD) Department.Plymouth Housing is a nonprofit organization that develops and operates permanent supportive housing for single adults who have experienced chronic homelessness. With apartment buildings throughout King County, Plymouth is helping the most vulnerable members of our community leave homelessness behind forever. At Plymouth, we’re not simply trying to get people off the streets. We provide supportive services like case management and health care so that our residents can thrive long-term. As part of our strategic vision, we are building internal behavioral health services and transforming our systems to address rapid growth and the changing needs of residents. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE DOING IN THIS ROLE AT PLYMOUTH HOUSINGOperations & Data ManagementSupport the daily functions of the Resource Development team.Collaborate on Salesforce data entry, gift tracking, and acknowledgment processes.Maintain accuracy in mailing lists and serve as backup for database duties.Manage monthly donor program logistics alongside the Director of Development.Donor Engagement & StewardshipExecute donor stewardship plans to boost retention, especially for first-time donors.Coordinate inclusive, diverse donor engagement activities.Respond to donor inquiries and represent Plymouth's mission.Partner with Communications on donor-focused messaging.Event Planning & ExecutionAssist with logistics for fundraising events, donor tours, and appreciation events.Lead logistics for select events (e.g., third-party or building celebrations), including vendor and volunteer coordination.Ensure timely, on-budget event production.Support event marketing efforts, including online tools, collateral, and social media.Team & CultureChampion Plymouth’s mission with deep program knowledge.Embrace and grow within DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging) initiatives.Contribute as a collaborative, solutions-driven team member. SOME KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES WE NEED FROM YOUAbility to communicate and work effectively with a diverse group of voices.Ability to attend events held after business hours and on weekends, as needed.Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient and experienced with Microsoft Office applications (particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and Publisher).Efficient and effective with customized databases and technology; able to conduct Internet research and comfortable learning new software.Ability to develop and sustain successful relationships with volunteers, donors, vendors, and Plymouth staff members.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines professionally.A team player who can take initiative and work independently within department priorities, willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities as appropriate.Ability to manage a high level of responsibility with strict attention to detail.Demonstrated solid leadership and ability to work independently.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.Two years of experience in non-profit fundraising, operations, donor stewardship, or event coordination.Experience with Salesforce is a plus.BENEFITSWe offer a comprehensive benefits package for Full-Time employees, including Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and 403(b) options.
